A total of 190 Student Assistants (SAs) gathered at the UC Theatre on February 26-28, 2025, for the Personality Development Program – Group Dynamics, themed “The Power of We.” The three-day event aimed to enhance teamwork, communication, and camaraderie among student assistants from different offices and departments.

Recognizing that SAs often work independently in various offices, this initiative sought to bridge gaps and build a stronger sense of unity. The program supports SDG 4 Quality Education, by enhancing students’ collaboration, adaptability, and trust—essential skills for lifelong learning and future employment.
The event featured a combination of interactive activities, workshops, and reflection sessions, ensuring a well-rounded experience for all attendees. Each activity was followed by a guided reflection session facilitated by the Guidance Facilitators.

These discussions helped participants process their experiences and apply the lessons to their everyday roles as student assistants.
The program concluded with the “Unity Pin” activity, symbolizing the collective strength and unity of the student assistants.
Many expressed appreciations for the opportunity to interact with fellow student assistants and build meaningful relationships beyond their individual assignments.

With the success of The Power of We, the SDW Office remains committed to empowering student assistants with valuable training programs that will benefit them not only in their current roles but also in their future careers.
The event was a testament to the importance of fostering a culture of collaboration and support—one that will continue to thrive among the student assistants of UC.
